toyota corolla door latch?

Today I was entering my 91 Corolla and when I closed the door it wouldn't close in. It seems like the lock had fell down in someway and it was blocking the door from closing. So everytime I pushed it in it would just bang against the inside and not close.Does anyone know how to fix this. Please let me know

Your generation of Corollas have always had door latch problems...I had a problem with mine too and it's a pain to fix.If the lock is damaged, it'll have to be replaced....and trying to do it yourself...believe me...is no fun!Unless you're up for it ofcourse...you'll probably want to change all the locks together too...
