I have a 2003 Toyota Rav4. It's got a little less than 40,000 miles on it.
Today I went to get my car serviced (oil change/ inspection) at a well known dealership, Longo Toyota. Their only reccomendation was for me to get a new cabin filter and air filter, and to rotate the tires. Because Longo is so well known, it would be a few hours wait just for those things. Plus, it's a lot of money. ($20 just to rotate tires!) Plus, they had already taken my car down and it was waiting for me.
Near my house is a Perrfect auto. I went there and told them that I would like the cabin filter, air filter and tires rotated. It was A LOT cheaper. When I was leaving this place, I was told that I needed a Serpentine Belt. Now, that was not reccomended by Longo earlier in the day when I had my car serviced.
I know what a Serpentine Belt is, but normally how long do they last? I was shown the belt, and the "cracks" were so small. I don't know if I should get it fixed or wait.
