Replacement of airbags on Oldsmobile Alero?

I just purchased a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero 4dr. Both driver and passenger airbags have been deployed. I have found a pair on ebay, but they are for a different year.

How hard is it to replace them, and what other years or makes (Chevrolet, Pontiac) is interchangeable with the Alero.
