accident? It's been 6 months since the accident. There were multiple cars involved and the guy who caused the accident only has 10,000 for property damage so I'm getting screwed. I sometimes will call the adjuster twice a day for 2 weeks before he'll return my call. Are they required to pay for a rental while it's being fixed or does that come out of the money the adjuster gives me? I so feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Any help would be great! Thanks!

How on earth are you getting taken advantage of? People like you.. who assume the "world is out to get them" b/c THEY dont understand insurance piss me off.

Dont you get it... that person NOT their insurance choose to have a very low coverage. They cant pay out more then that person is insured for.

Therefore.. since multiple cars are involved.. they have to wait until everyone gets estimates and then divy out that small amount of money they can between the parties based on who has the most damage- do you have any idea how much time that takes? do you have any idea how much you probably drive your adjuster nuts calling all the time when they dont have an answer yet?

Long story short.. no.. you absolutely wont get paid for a rental this entire time.. they dont even have enough to pay for damages- how on earth would they?

You just need to sit back.. relax... and realize that you put yourself just as much in this situation as the other party did when you decided not to have collision on your policy. You knew you would be in this situation if you got in an accident.

Geesh. Ok, my venting is over. People liek you drive me nuts.
