wasn't financed & want the car back, because they couldn't get me financed after almost 2 months into having the car. They want to give me 3 other cars to choose from or give me close to nothing back, because they are going by the mileage on the car....in which case, they wanted me to pick one of the other cars or take my money....is this legal. I don't feel that they should be able to take my money like that...they had plenty of time to tell me before I gave them my money; I was just informed 7 days ago, and have had the car since Nov 25, 2007. The really discouraging part is when they called me they only said they wanted me to sign some papers. Now, they are trying to say I misled them, by not telling them that I had gap in my employment; but in turn told them that ONLY gave what they asked for, which was before your current job what other job did you have before this one. What can be done about this?

This is very interesting, since they should not give you the car before all the finance went thru. A car sale should be done, that the a bank approves you, tell you the interest and then you sign all the paperwork and you take the car. If you were already approved, they can't change that. You signed a legal document, so did they. They should have checked out everything before they signed, no it is too late. What kind of dealership it is?? Did you sign anything? Read everything what you have, including the sales paper. If everything seems correct, they can not do anything. Never heard of such a thing. Not after two day of sale, not after two months! Something stinks here. Don't give the car back, if all the papers correct, check with the bank that approved you! It's really up to the bank, not up to them. Good luck.
