...the engine light of my car turned? I own a mazda 626 2002 model (95,000 miles)....two days back while driving, the engine light of my car turned on. Regarding this i went to a good workshop to get my car's engine inspected. the workshop guy told me that my car's both oxygen sensors are damaged and need to be replaced and he also suspected damage to the catalytic converter (which he was nt sure coz it cannot be seen from outside as he said). Now I dont know how to go by it.
1. Shall I go for replacement of catalytic converter along with oxygen sensors?
2. Or first get the oxygen sensors replaced?
3. My mechanic has suggested the cost of catalytic converter around $1200 but i dont
want to spend this much amount...what shall i do?
