Call a saab dealership and explain what happened they can get u another key...be ready its gonna cost you. I know a 01 chevy key from the dealer cost $85 because the keys have computer chips in them
Call a Saab dealership. They may be able to cut you a copy using your VIN number. Your only other option is to replace the whole ignition lock assembly.
Either way, whatever you do, have a couple spares made.
call a saab dealership and speak with parts. tell them your vin # and they will cut you a key. you might also have to have the key programmed to your car. the key is probably around $70 and the programming around $50. good luck
GM owns Saab. I assume this will work for Saab also because of their parent company. All GM cars had a small metal tag on the key ring when bought new with an ID number. If you still have the ID number, you should be able to go to the dealer and they can put this number into the computer to make a new key. I believe they may be able to use the VIN number if you can not locate the ID number.
