Well it looks like it costs about 50.00 for the pump its self, not including the gasket, or any other tools. I would say with labor & parts it sounds right. You have to think that the water pump may be down under other things that have to be taken out to get to it. that is what could be costing so much. Have him get a sheet of paper with an estimate from the place. Or call for your self say i need an estimate for (you car & whats wrong).
