to change windshield.? I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville that needs a new windshield. I took it down to the glass shop, but they don't know how to lift up the rag top to get to the seal underneath the windshield.
The ragtop is an aftermarket (I believe) as the cars do not come with it stock. It looks like the top is held down by screws on the back side, but the front isn't.... The shop called and asked how I can open it up, but I told them I don't know.
How do you replace the windshield when there's a ragtop on the roof of my car? Can it pulled back a little to get to the seal? Or completely removed?
