I don't know much about cars. I was wondering if it is possible to completely redo the whole dash/ head unit. Not just replace the old system with a new aftermarket one but also moving the radiator, changing the overall look (shape) adding on additional functions. Is it possible on all cars even the really old ones. and how difficult is it to do so?

If you wish to redo the dash board with the available head units in market , the system comes pre-designed and relocating the radiator and other is impossible.

But if you approach a fabricator he will charge you but design as per your specification. I advice to stick to the frames available in the market and choose the best ones to suit your style rather than experimenting which usually turns out to be impractical.
