When the doors open to the Auto Expo 2012 in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Ford will also open the doors to its next global vehicle. This all-new ride will be shown starting January 7, 2012 and will first be introduced to the Indian market. The vehicle, which has yet to be revealed or officially named, will be the next in line of what the Blue Oval calls, “One Ford Global Products.” Even though it will make it to Indian streets first, the vehicle will find its way to markets around the world very shortly.
The all-new vehicle will take center stage at Ford’s Delhi display. Other global vehicles such as the Fiesta compact will be right alongside Indian-spec cars such as the Classic and Figo. The display, which will cover roughly 1,400 square meters, will showcase a total of 12 Ford cars and trucks and could attract up to 1.4 million visitors over the course of five days.
