Ford plans to hire 800 more U.S. salaried employees in 2013, a total of 3,000 salaried workers this year, reports Detroit Free Press.
Previously, the automaker had announced plans to add 2,200.
In new hiring plan, Ford intends to hire more engineers or information technology specialists, who are expected to work to improve the company’s MyFord Touch infotainment system.
