Ever so often, Ferrari builds a special, one-off model that is usually reserved for one very special client. The Superamerica 45 is the next car to be added to that list as New York collector and Ferrari enthusiast Peter Kalikow recently took delivery of his specially built supercar. Built in-house by Ferrari according to Kalikow’s specifications, the Superamerica is based on the 599 GTB super grand tourer but features a carbon fiber rotating hard top.
Finished in an exclusive Blu Antille color, the Superamerica 45 is just another Ferrari to add to Kalikow’s large collection. The name celebrates the long 45 years since he first became a Ferrari owner and it truly is a unique supercar. That phrase may get thrown out a lot, but this time it is being used in a very honest fashion.
