To talk about Ferrari without mentioning Sergio Pininfarina is nearly impossible. The prolific designer had his hands on more than 100 different Ferrari models. To celebrate one of the greatest designers in Ferrari history, 22 models with the Pininfarina name have been put on display in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.
The display is titled, The Great Ferraris of Sergio Pinninfarina Exhibition.
Sergio’s pen made the lines of cars from as early as the 1952 Inter Cabriolet, and as recent as the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Sergio made design his life, and didn’t retire from his design Firm until 2006. Even at that point, he maintained an advisory role as Honorary Chairman until he passed this past July.
If this impressive collection of Italian history is on your “must-see” list, you better book your tickets now. The exhibit currently has plans to shutter its doors on January 7, 2013, but we wouldn’t be surprised if high turnout keeps it around for at-least a few more days. Check out a quick collection of photos from the exhibit in our gallery below, and then be sure to watch the video for extra insight into the cars of Pininfarina.
