Ferrari is reportedly preparing to release and updated version of the F12 Berlinetta, and it sounds like its going to be amazing. Rumors are pegging the car’s horsepower to be bumped up to around 770 horses, and there is supposed to be a weight loss of more than 400 pounds coming as well. That would make the new F12 quite a fast machine indeed, and nobody thought the old car was slow. Now, we may even know what it looks like. This photo was snapped at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, and there are lots if interesting things to look at. For starters, there are those vents above the rear wheels, and those wheels themselves are thin-spoke lighteight units that don’t come factory on the standard F12. It could be a customer car with some modifications, but considering how close we are to a reveal, this seems like it could be the real deal.
We don’t have a name for the new car yet, but some idea floating around the interwebs are the F12 M. the F12 GTO and the F12 Speciale. This new car should be debuting at the Frankfurt Auto Show in just a few weeks, so we will have all the details then.
