Here is another leaf in Nissan’s hat and provides more proof that the automaker is very serious about the green technology. EPA has just announced that Nissan will again win the Partner of the year award for the year 2011.
Nissan also won this award last year and is continuing the trend of smart energy management. According to EPA, Nissan has been an Energy Star Partner since 2006 and the plants in Smyrna, Decherd and Canton have shown an overall improvement of 30 percent saving the company over $11.5 million per year.
