Unlike permanent AWD systems, the Chargers will be fitted with a segment-exclusive active transfer case. To make things even more interesting, the Dodge will come with a front axle disconnect system so that the right balance between performance and efficiency can be had. The switch will take place, as Chrysler puts it, “seamlessly.” The AWD Charger Pursuits will be available for the 2014 model year.
