Throughout the entire Fast & Furious movie series, the American manufacturer Dodge has held a presence – even in the installments not featuring Dominic Toretto. In the varieties that do however, Dodge is more of a signature character than a marquee and now, Dom’s preferred brand of choice has entered into a promotional partnership with Universal Pictures and Atlantic Records for the upcoming movie, ‘Furious 7.’

While the partnership with Universal is nothing new, the venture with Atlantic contains a milestone. For the first time ever, Dodge will work with the record company to create music videos that support the label’s “Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.” Set to be released March 17, the soundtrack and its associated videos will feature a handful of custom Chrysler vehicles, including a 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat, Viper GTS, and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. In addition to the videos, a number of television spots will begin airing this week – some of which internationally.

Subjective hopes are for a marketing campaign that isn’t as awkwardly obvious as GM’s inclusion in Transformers. The initial TV spot below is tame enough but we can’t help but want to see more of the iconic Dodges that made the series so legendary. Talks of “other new and vintage Dodge vehicles” have been made which is enough for us to safely assume the blown, black 1970 Charger will make an appearance in the marketing campaign.
