AUTOMOBILE Magazine named the CTS-V Wagon to its list of 2011 All-Stars, placing the high-performance Cadillac wagon into an elite class of new models.
The AUTOMOBILE Magazine 2011 All-Star awards were announced today at www.automobilemag.com and will be featured in the February issue of the magazine. In selecting the CTS-V Wagon, the AUTOMOBILE Magazine editors explained what impressed them:
“The CTS-V Wagon is not only far cooler than the sedan and the coupe that share its raucous powertrain and chiseled good looks, it’s also evidence that Cadillac is willing and able to play to the desires of the keenest automotive enthusiasts in America.”
The CTS-V Wagon is the latest addition to Cadillac’s V-Series line of high-performance luxury sports car. It features a supercharged 6.2L V8 delivering 556 horsepower, Brembo brakes and Magnetic Ride Control suspension. The CTS-V Wagon also provides 25 cubic feet of storage space, about twice the cargo room of a luxury sedan in the same class.
“The selection to the AUTOMOBILE Magazine All-Stars is a strong endorsement of what we have been able to accomplish with the CTS-V Wagon,” said Don Butler, vice president for Cadillac marketing. “The CTS-V Wagon is the latest example of Cadillac setting a new standard by proving you can have bold styling and an exceptional driving experience along with the functional space of a wagon.”
