Chrysler announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Lux head of its transmission powertrain group, effective immediately, reports The Detroit News.
Lux will be responsible for all transmission and driveline systems for Chrysler and for helping to coordinate global powertrain activities for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
Lux joins Chrysler from General Motors, where he held a series of engineering positions with increasing responsibility since 1986. Most recently, he served as executive director of powertrain for new product launch.
