Chrysler Group LLC announced that effective immediately, there will be changes made to their management team. Fred Diaz, current president and CEO of the Ram Truck Brand will also now oversee Chrysler de Mexico, which is also responsible for Latin America. CEO of Chrysler Canada, Reid Bigland, is now President and CEO of the Dodge Car Brand as well as head of U.S. sales. Chrysler Canada gets further help by way of a newly created position, Chief Operating Officer. David Buckingham will take on this responsibility and reports to Bigland.
For the Mopar and hot-rod enthusiast, Ralph Gilles has been appointed President and CEO of the reborn Street and Racing Technology brand, otherwise know as SRT. He will also continue being responsible for all exterior and interior design activities for all of Chrysler LLC. Finally, Joe ChamaSrour has been reassigned to International Operations for Jeep and will report to Mike Manley, who is still President and CEO for the brand and head of International Operations, Chrysler Group.
