The next line-up of little crossovers from General Motors, the Chevrolet Trax, will see the light of day soon enough. Set to debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, the compact SUV will be available in numerous markets with the exception of just a few, including the U.S. Even still, GM will be making the vehicle in North America as the announcement was made that the Trax will call Mexico home.

According to an Automotive News article, the Trax will be made possible by a $120 million investment and it will be built at the San Luis Potosi assembly plant. Its first battle ground is looking to be the Mexican market which should begin seeing the little crossover during the fourth quarter. After that, the Trax will go to 140 countries but it will not make its way to American soil. This is even the case despite the vehicle being built on top of the Sonic platform.
