Chevrolet has revealed Colorado Sport Concept in Texas.
The Colorado Sport Concept demonstrates the lifestyle-oriented versatility of Chevy’s all-new midsize pickup, with a pair of mountain bikes mounted via the GearOn Accessory System, an innovative and adjustable cargo solution.
The 2015 Colorado is available in extended- or crew-cab models, with a choice of a 2.5L four-cylinder or 3.6L V-6 engine, according to Chevrolet.
The automaker said that the Colorado’s 2.5L has an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway. The 3.6L V-6 is deemed to be the most powerful at 305 horsepower, Chevrolet said.
The 2015 Colorado will start at $20,995 for a four-door extended cab model with a 200-horsepower four-cylinder engine.
“It’s not just mountain bikes, but just about any passion you can name, from kayaking, fishing, dirt bikes and more,” Colorado Marketing Manager Tony Johnson said, adding that “it’s a truck for those who need the versatility of a pickup to support their work and lifestyle interests, but don’t need a full-size truck to do it.”
