Chevrolet will assembly the Bolt EV compact crossover in Michigan, according to a news report by Reuters.
The publication reported citing some sources that the battery-electric production is likely to start in late 2016. Assembly will take place at an existing, underutilized small-car facility in Orion Township, Michigan.
The automaker is targeting production volume at 25,000-30,000 units a year. It will have a MSRP of $30,000.
