The latest iteration of the M3 has been one of BMW’s best-selling and most successful. To capitalize on this interest and excitement, the Bavarians have created many special editions over the last few years. The most special and limited of these have been coated them in sweet matte “Frozen” paint colors. The first was a Frozen Gray and then came the Frozen Black, now there are three more entrants into the Frozen club and they are a very patriotic Frozen Red, Frozen White and Frozen Blue.
This new BMW M3 Coupe Frozen Edition carries a sticker of $76,395, or more than $16,000 over a base M3 coupe. It does come with lots of extras besides the paint to help justify the outrageous price. The Competition Package and Premium Package come standard meaning you get sharp-looking matte black 19-inch alloys, black accents on the exhaust, side vents and grille, carbon fiber roof and a host of other additions. To add another dash of “fancy” each car’s interior is contrast stitched to match the exterior.
Like all cars with a Roundel, if that steep price is too cheap for you , BMW is more than happy to offer a pile of optional extras that are sure to blow that price skyward. Ordering begins in January, and the cars will be limited to 150 models here in the US so you better get your wallet ready, these will go quickly.
