When you live in a luxury home you own many things made of leather and wood. For decades luxury cars have incorporated these same materials, but one thing a luxury home has that cars don’t is stone. Marble pillars and granite counters in the kitchen scream money and luxury, and now Bentley is bringing that extra level of money and flash to its cars with new stone veneers.
Available on Mulliner specification cars, these new stone veneers are just .1mm thick making them thin enough to be translucent. The veneers are made of slate and quartzite mined in India. To make them properly fit and finished for interior work, these stones slabs are cured with a special mixture of fiberglass and resin to give them the proper shine and shape.
They even offer the stone in various colors to better match the interior and exterior color schemes of your new Bentley. The four colors currently available are Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper, and they are available on the Continental and Flying Spur.
Just one more way to make sure your neighbor knows that you have the nicer car.
