More news is coming out of Detroit, and it involves Bentley.
Bentley has announced what new cars it will be bringing the Auto Show, and it includes the new 2014 Continental V8 S. This represents the American debut of the V8 S, a modified version of Bentley’s wildly successful Continental coupe. Based on the base Conti V8, the S sits lower on an upgraded suspension setup, features unique styling and an increase in power. The S adds 21 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of twist over the standard V8. That comes out to 521 horsepower and 502 lb/ft of torque.
Thanks to that added power, the V8 S sees a top speed increase to 192 mph while the o-60 sprint is cut down to 4.3 seconds.
Rounding out the Bentley booth will be Bentley’s all-new Flying Spur sedan and the flagship Mulsanne.
Look for more information on all three of these cars next week as we get into the full swing of the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
