It’s early April, and a harsh, colorless winter is being trounced by the sprawling rejuvenation of the Eifel’s thriving landscape. Meanwhile, a colossal gathering of enthusiasts at the Nüburgring marks the start of the racing season for motorcyclists throughout Germany and countries abroad.

Titled “Mass” for a reason, this is a blessing of the bikes; as a promising season lies ahead for many riders who have been plenty busy making improvements and hammering away at their projects while the sun remains dormant. The event is a friendly send-off for everyone who rides, whether they are competing or cruising. A sort of nation-wide celebration of the fairer weather and longer days that accompany the riding season.

Motorcyclists are a niche group of enthusiasts regardless of what hemisphere they exist in, however it seems as if the German way is the best way when it comes to motorcycle culture. In America, any regular individual with a clean check can cash out on 1000cc of raw power, but the Germans found that sort of freedom can be problematic. Instead, you must earn it.

The event kicks off on April 10th, and we will be there with our trusty photo gear to capture every moment of this great event. If you have even a mild love for motorcycles, you owe it to yourself to come back to AutoTalk.com and check out our full event coverage. The site of thousands of motorcycles swarming around the Green Hell is a special kind of beautiful.

Check out the video below (with its hilariously awful music) to get a better idea what this event is like.
