Audi will launch next generation Audi A8 in 2017.
The automaker also confirmed that the car will have installed an Autonomous Driving System.
The Autonomous Driving System will use laser, radar, ultrasonic sensors and cameras. In addition, Audi said that the model will fully adopt its new design language, presented in Prologue Coupe and Avant Concepts.
Audi A8 will be the company’s first car to feature autonomous driving technology. The next gen A8 will come with traffic-jam pilot, according to Audi’s Head of Research & Development, Ulrich Hackenberg. In addition, it will have piloted parking, which enables the driver to stand by and watch the car park itself into a spot.
