Need for Speed is making a huge comeback this year with a complete reboot of the franchise. The new game finally hits consoles next week, and Electronic Arts has released the official launch trailer. Spoiler, it looks awesome.
The video is nothing more than quick random looks at some of the cars, locations and stars of the game, but it is beautifully done, and it’s set to the classic song “Gangster’s Paradise.” It is just somehow a perfect embodiment of the game I want it to be. Need for Speed Underground was my favorite racing game for years, and this trailer takes me back to those early days of sitting in my living room on Saturday morning with my friends.
The game arrives Tuesday for Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles. EA says a PC release is coming in the spring. I just got my copy, so expect a full review very soon!
