A new study revealed that young people are increasingly using smartphones to buy cars, The Detroit News reports.
AutoTrader.com, a car-shopping website, said in its its third-annual automotive buyer influence study that 95% of those in their 20s and early 30s do their car shopping online, while 50% use their smartphones, according to the news report.
The young buyers visit third-party sites — like AutoTrader, TrueCar or Edmunds — before making a decision to buy cars.
