General Motors has named Johan de Nysschen to lead Cadillac, reports Detroit Free Press.
Most recently, de Nysschen was brand chief for Infiniti. He replaces Bob Ferguson, senior vice president of Cadillac, who was named as senior vice president of global public policy.
De Nysschen will report to GM President Dan Ammann, who oversees GM’s regional marketing strategies.
In China, Cadillac sales surged 72% for the first half of 2014 to 33,760 units. Its goal is to sell 100,000 vehicles in the world’s largest car market in 2015.
