The Japanese automaker Honda Motor has adopted English as official language of the company’s global meetings.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Takanobu Ito informed global employees of the change in April, according to John Mendel, executive vice president of the company’s U.S. sales unit.
The new English language rule applies to in-person meetings and video conferences.
