Mercedes-Benz has dropped the price of the redesigned 2014 S550 sedan by $2,100. It will have a base price of $93,825, down from the current price of $95,925. Shipping cost is included.
The S550 sedan goes on sale Oct. 15, 2014.
According to CEO Steve Cannon, the price cut is part of an effort to maintain sales leadership in the premium luxury sedan segment. “We have a seven-year life cycle with the all-new S class and we want to get it out of the gate as one of the most sought-after products,” Cannon said.
