Electric-car maker Detroit Electric has stalled the production of its electric sports cars, SP:01 electric sports car, reports The Detroit News.
According to the news report, the automaker has yet to finalize a lease or purchase agreement for a manufacturing facility in Wayne County.
Previous plans called for Detroit Electric to begin manufacturing its vehicle at the Plymouth facility by this month.
The facility is expected to have an annual production capacity of about 2,500 and employ more than 100 workers.
