Fiat SpA and PSA Peugeot Citroen are teaming up to share investment in the development of new delivery vans in in Italy, Bloomberg News reported, citing four people familiar with the matter.

The companies, according to those unidentified people, will split costs to develop a new version of a full-sized van, which will be built at the SevelSud plant in central Italy.

An official announcement on the partnership is expected to be made soon.

Fiat and Peugeot currently cooperate at SevelSud on assembly of the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper models.
