Scion turns the big 1-0 this year. Ten years of bringing youthful, and often different-looking, cars to a youth-oriented marketplace.
To commemorate this joyous occasion, Scion is offering a special edition package called the 10 Series. It’s available on each of their models and includes some optional goodies that will add distinction and rarity to each car.
The cosmetic features consist of Silver Ignition exterior paint with matching silver seatbelts, solar-powered illuminated shift knobs and nifty Scion badges front and rear that are backlit with blue LEDs. The iQ, xB, and xD also get smoky-colored alloy wheels that contrast nicely with the silver paint.
Scion will only produce 10,000 10 Series vehicles with each model getting its own varying portion of the total number. Here’s how it breaks down:
2014 tC – 3,500 units
2013 FR-S – 2,500 units
2014 iQ – 900 units
2013 xB – 2,100 units
2013 xD – 1,000 units
Look for the 10 Series vehicles to start appearing on dealer lots beginning in June.
