Looks like few Mercedes Owners are going to need to head in to the dealer to fix some faulty airbags. 499 Mercedes E-Class coupes are being recalled thanks to a passenger-side curtain airbag that may deflate too quickly. The NHTSA says this will reduce the overall level of protection offered by the airbag.
Both E350 and E550 models are affected, with build dates between April 2 and June 29, 2012. The recall should begin in November so keep your eyes and ears open to see if your car is affected. If you have questions you can call Mercedes-Benz at 1.800.367.6372
