There is something special about getting online and building your dream car. Every time a new model comes out we rush to the site to see what options are available and what colors they have. THis urge that petrol-heads have is one of the main reason Ford introduced its 2013 Ford Mustang Customizer in June.It was one of the most ambitious online customization tools we have seen with its competitive voting aspects and ability to save created cars as wallpapers, and we love it. So does everyone else apparently as Ford as said that almost 500,000 Mustangs have built since its launch.
Well now Ford wants to give the people more, and has made the customizer available in app form on your Apple/Android device of choice, and it comes with some new features as well. Not only are you able to build a custom Mustang on the go, but Ford has created a “drift challenge” feature. Drift challenge allows users to take their custom Mustang and race it around one of 9 tracks. Fastest times are saved to a leader board so you can see how you do against your friends.
