Nissan relaunched the Z in 2003 and it was an instant success. From Nissan's point of view, Z not only provided them with the most needed comeback but it ended up being a benchmark for the new Japanese sports cars.
According to the rumor mills, the new Z will get a Nissan 370Z badge and will house Nissan's latest 3.7L powerhouse. As for the exterior, Nissan is looking to tweak the body lines and give it a fresher look.
If we really look at all the Nissan commercials and media advertisements, Nissan always marketed a Nissan Z compared to 350Z so they didn't have to go back and change the name whenever they deploy the new engine.
Nissan is getting ready to roll out some great cars starting with the Nissan GT-R, Silvia Concept and now the 370Z. We can expect to see the 2009 Nissan 370Z at the Tokyo Motor Show.
