Saint Patrick’s Day, a day of green. Green clothing, green stickers, green celebrations and after too many green beers a day green faces and churning stomachs. Chevrolet has decided to express its love of this greenest of holidays by showing off a little green of its own.
First of the green brigade is the Hot Wheel Camaro Concept. Debuted at last year’s SEMA show, Chevrolet will be bringing this concept, complete with eye-searing green paint, to the New York Auto Show in a few weeks time. This car, and its outrageous paint, was inspired by the ” Custom Camaro” Hot Wheels car form 1968. the Spectraflame® finish is achieved by applying a liquid-metal solution to the car, as well as several layers of green tint.
The all-new Chevrolet Spark is a small car with big ambitions. With 10 standard airbags, incredible fuel efficiency and impressive driving dynamics, the Spark is challenging the idea of what a small car should be. Aside from its previously mentioned qualities, the attention-grabbing five-door is available in a Jalapeno green finish.
Chevrolet isn’t just promoting its green colors outside, either. With the all-new Malibu Eco, Sonic, Cruze and Cruze Eco all having EPA highway mpg ratings of 37 or higher, and the Volt electric car, Chevy is even green on the inside.
Hopefully you kept your green beer inside too.
