Infiniti is rapidly expanding its portfolio of vehicles to increase sales and penetrate new markets. The latest push appears to be luxury compact crossovers with the new QX30 concept.
This new machine carries the same attractive and swoopy design that is the signature for the brand, but it is covered with the usual “concept car” flourishes like 21-inch alloy wheels.
While strictly listed as a concept, Inifiniti already has plans to put this handsome crossover into production. No confirmed word on powertrain options, but expect a small turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to either a FWD or AWD drivetrain. Infiniti does state that there will be a “full range of powertrains to suit every need,” so I also expect some more powerful V-6 options to join the list as well.
