Audi is looking to muscle its way into the small SUV game with its new 2015 Q3. BMW’s X1 has already shown that buyers are willing to pay for a compact luxury SUV, and Audi wants to capitalize.
The all-new 2015 Q3 will be powered by the same 200 horsepower 2.0-liter TFSI engine found across the Volkswagen family. Shifting duties are being handled by a six-speed Tiptronic automatic. Of course, Audi’s Quattro AWD system will be offered, but the Q3 will come standard in a front-wheel drive configuration.
Audi is hoping to woo buyers with a nice collection of standard equipment that includes a panoramic sunroof, heated seats, leather and that trademark LED lighting that everyone likes so much.
Audi has yet to announce pricing, but expect the car to go on sale closer to the fall.
