The venerable Volvo S80 is the largest car currently offered by the Swedish car firm, and it is also one of the oldest with the current generation car beginning production in 2006. To try to keep the aging car fresh Volvo has upped its level of standard equipment, and tweaked some of the visual options.
New standard equipment includes rain sensing wipers, headlight washers and Tunnel detection for the headlights. All S80 cars also get the Keyless Drive with Personal Car Communicator as standard. Two new colors have added for 2013 a rather handsome Magic Blue Metallic and a rather Volvo-esque Twilight Bronze Metallic. T6 cars with the Dynamic Package get new 18-inch “Ymir” forged alloy wheels and a sporty leather wrapped three-spoke steering wheel.
Pricing for the big Volvo starts at $38,950 for a base S80 3.2 while the top trim S80 T6 AWD Platinum will lighten your wallet by $46,800.
