Audi’s new RS5 is a lust-worthy beast with its throaty V8, Quattro AWD system and handsome looks. Now things are getting even better, as Audi has decided to chop the top off of the sexy machine and give the world the Audi RS5 Cabriolet.
The convertible retains the 450 horsepower of the coupe, and gets the same S-tronic seven-speed automatic box. All together, the topless German should scoot to 62 mph in a hair under five seconds. Top speed is the usual limited 155 mph, but if Audi removes that limiter v-max moves up to 174 mph.
No US pricing has been divulged, but look for it to carry a slightly higher sticker than the $69k Audi is asking for the coupe. The Cabrio should arrive in dealerships next spring, just in time for summer driving weather.
