We recently brought you news of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s new one-quarter overlap test, and we are proud to announce that the all-new 2013 Nissan Altima has aced that test. In light of the new crash test, and the news standards of safety that they demonstrate, the IIHS has created a new Top Safety Pick Plus designation.
The Plus signifies that the 2013 Altima goes above and beyond the standards in pursuit of safety. The Altima is one of our favorite cars form the current crop of mid-sizers and we are pleased to see that is still winning accolades and recognition.
